Every fall my wife and I like to travel outside of the Twin Cities to see the leaves turn for the season.

We call it our “leaf peeping” tour and we’ve been doing it for a few years now and it has become a wonderful tradition for us.

We typically road trip to bakeries, restaurants, wineries, breweries and sometiems she finds little gems like the Franconia Sculpture Park which blew me away.

What a great find on our visit and we look forward to going back.

We got to stretch our legs and walk around, this place is super artsy in a way that has you in awe of what these students have built.

I found my self staring at quite a few pieces wondering where do they come up with these amazing ideas?!?

It’s located in Shafer, MN, they are a non-profit arts organization operating a 43-acre outdoor sculpture park so I highly recommend you visit.
